Help hooking up Tascam 48 reel to reel

Hey out there, I recently acquired a Tascam 48 - 8 track reel to reel. My meger mission for this grand machine is, (for now) to transfer my cd's to tape. I have a 4 track mixer and harmon/kardon receiver. I'm confussed about the configuration. Any one have some ideas to help??

Why do you want to transfer CDs to an 8-track analog Reel-to-Reel????
Usually folks want to take recordings made on a RTR and put them on a CD
