Help connecting midi keyboards

I'm currently using cubase 8 as a daw. However i also have a motif and 4 other keyboards that i'd like to connect and control via the motif if possible so i can sequence in real time away from the computer. Should i attempt to daisy chain midi cables off of the motif? should i purchase an outboard midi sequencer? what's the best way to free myself from the computer and compose using my hardware in real time? Thanks!

Can't understand the objection to a computer? Just a "better" sequencer after all!
If it is Cubase* that is causing bafflement I have found this: Free and open source MIDI sequencer software "Sekaiju"

I fully intend to try it myself soon.

Yes you can daisy chain the keyboards but I think the limit is about 3? For addition MIDI control boxes talk to those clever Kenton people.
