I am planning on building a portable drum cage that can also be used sort of as a live room. I've already got a really good "dead" vocal closet that sounds great. I need to building something that will allow me to record drums, percussion, some acoustic guitar, group vocals, and similar in my den.

My ceiling is 8 ft. high, and the walls are all sheetrock, the floor is carpeted. The cage needs to be portable, cheap, sound good, and also able to be adapted to different situations. I've read alot, but still have a lot of questions. I would appreciate any and all help and advice from you guys. I'm a college student without much money, but I will put the work into it to make it sound great and look nice.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I think that's a good idea Jeremy - you can stand them up against the wall as room treatment when you aren't using them as a booth. :)

cheers
