Help! Audio tracks exported from midi are slowed down!

So i'm using a midi vsti in Cubase LE 4, and i finish my track and want to export the midi data to audio, and when i get it exported and loaded in, the track is waaaaay slowed down. Has anyone else had this problem or know how i can fix it? My guess is it's a latency issue.

I suppose i could do this and then speed up the exported file to match with the rest of the song, but thats a hassle and screws up the sound quality.

Are you exporting to the same sample rate as your project is set to. If you export at 96000 and your project is 48000 it will sound like its at half speed.
