Peavey ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone,
Having no high pitched hearing since birth, I'm trying to figure out how I need to compensate in my mixs. In the Clinic I've been told that the instruments sound good, but my voice is lacking high end- I never learned to pronounce them, I guess.
In the Clinic I posted 3 small clips (0.78 Meg) of a tune with different EQ setting and volume on the vocals. If you have the inclination, I'd really appreciate your input on how the EQ is affecting the high end on the vocals as I am mixing and tracking "blind" in that frequency range. I'm hoping that once I figure out what frequencies I need to work on I will be able to compensate in the future without continually having to ask.
The post in the Clinic is:

If you'd like more background information there's a bit of it higher up in the thread.
I feel a little silly cross posting like this, but I'd really appreciate the help and I learn quickly. Nobody around me has ears trained for mixing and narrowing down a frequency is beyond them. In this case, it is physically beyond me, too.
Thanks!
Chris
