I have a Delta44 soundcard and Im using Adobe Audition 1.0 and monitoring out of Mackie HR824s and headphones. How do I make it so that I can hear myself talking in the headphones while Im recording?

you might have better luck in the AA forum as well. If i remeber correctly it has to be setup in the patchbay for your soundcard, since AA don't support input monitoring.

I'm pretty sure you have to use the patchbay/router tab of the control panel so you can route the In's straight to the outs and/or the monitor mixer.

You need at least a duplex card and a hardware monitoring setup. This means that the signal of the recorded tracks is combined with the input signal in a monitor or headphone playback. so you can hear both together, while recording ONLY the input signal. while excluding the playback signal from recording onto the new track, so you don't get a combination of the old & new on the new track.

I just tried all of my setting and the closest I got was hearing myself but unfortunately not the music at the same time :(

use windows volume control and unmute microphone balance, all i havta do...
