Trying to buy smallish quantity Intraclean non-alcohol based cleaner for both heads and rollers on my Yamaha MT400 - multiple sites have accepted order and then sent back "no longer carry" messages. Certain sites cost so much for shipping that I may as well find outlet and drive there. Suggestions or info about product experience are very welcome.

The stuff used for heads is NOT the same as the stuff used on the rollers.......

Look for Chemtronics brand of audiocleaners........

Thanks for tip...I like what I see at Chemtronics site...check out ease of purchase next. re: Intraclean dual purpose matter...here's a quote used (more or less) many times in ads: "Intraclean S-721H is formulated to clean audio….tape heads, tape guides, capstans and pinch rollers…." But as you say guides I read note using TWO products. Thanks (I dislike doing any hands on recording myself but find the need to get some 'sketches' together to kick upstairs to you pros).

You can get cleaner for the headas at tascam, that's where i get mine for my adat.

Thanks. I see a something at Tascam.Com called "head cleaner" very inexpensive too. So far haven't seen descriptions of which specific product is for heads and which for rollers etc. Will keep investigating. Thanks again.

www.webtronics.com is where blue bear sent me.......they have small bottles of pinch roller cleaner called rubber renue. even has a brush built into the cap !

Sounds great, but when I go to www.webtronics.com I get a Redwood City California web site. If you can spot what's going wrong with the site info it sure sounds like what I am looking for.
Thanks - Tim
