Headphones

I need to get a new pair of headphones for tracking. i don't have a big budget, can anyone recommend anything?

For tracking, try the MoreMe's.

For mixing/listening, try the Sennheiser HD-201's.

Both are pretty low cost.

Just wondering if you've used the new Audio Technica ATH-M50s ($150). I have a couple of colleagues who seem to like them, and I'm thinking about trying them for some critical listening of mixes late at night. My current Senn 280s aren't bad, but I'm sure there are better choices (closed-design) out there.

Considering how cheap I am, I doubt whether I'll ever get to try them, except maybe at NAMM this year.

FWIW, these seem to be available for @$100 or so on e-bay from a number of vendors. I've heard good things also.

Yes, the MoreMes are Harvey's and they are great for the stated purpose -- which is tracking of the behaviorally impaired. I have three pair of the older model and they work great.
