Headphones?

So,

I am in the market for some new headphones. The ones I currently have are very uncomfortable and bleed the sound into my mic when I am singing vocals. That is my 2 main requirements:

1) Very low, or NO noise coming out from the headphones that could bleed into my new tracks..

2) Comfortable to wear

I would like a decent pair but I do not want to spend a lot (no more than $40 if possible).

Will something like this do the trick?
Behringer HPM1000 Headphones

These also seem to get high reviews:
Sennheiser HD201 Closed-Back Headphones

Anyone else have some good experience with some decent headphones that meet my 2 above requirements?

Thanks in advance!

Consider using those ear muffs for hearing protection over ear buds. Probably not the best sound, but certainly the most extreme isolation you can get.

What ear muffs? :D

You mean buy some regular ear muffs and put over the headphones? I still need a new paid of headphones since mine are the old walkman style headphones with the 1/8" that I have a 1/4" converter on the end.

Any recommendations? ;)

I mean earbuds, those things that fit in your ear, like that come with an iPod.

hrm, they seem pretty cool and a good price.

anyone else ever tried these or any other recommendations before I buy some?

after reading the review posted right here, it seems they are an ok headphone but doesnt offer extreme isolation.

I dont want the sound to bleed over into my "very sensitive" condenser mic. Should I look for something else?

"Extreme isolation"? No.

"Good enough isolation"? Probably.

As far as recommendations, talk to Fletcher at Mercenary Audio, George Massenburg, Terry Manning at Compasspoint, or Mike Clarke at Southern Tracks. That's pretty much the only headphones Terry used on the new "Widespread Panic" album. Oh, and Fletcher (who's had a pair in constant use for a year now) is about to carry them at Mercenary Audio.

That's what I do for drums right now. Cheap, works pretty well, and SAVES YOUR EARS. That's the main reason I do that. After finding out about these MoreMe's, I think I know what I'm buying next.
