I'm partial to my Audio Technica M40fs's

I don't think I could bring myself to buy anything else in the price range..

I agree. I bought two Fostex T-40s and was very dissappointed because of the heavy bass response. The AT M40fs's (I bought two of those last week) give a great flat response so I really know what I've got.

my definite choices are between:

senn 280 pro
sony v6/7506
beyer 250 (80ohm)

For those that were curious.......

i'm going to end up going with the Sennheiser 280 pro's! :)

I've got the audio technicas and i really like them
they give a great sound
I don't know how the other ones u listed sound but the m40's are great for me

Do you guys have the Evolution series Senns in the states?

I bought a pair of EH2270's yesterday after trying some beyers & AKG's ( I think ).

They retailed for $270.00 Australian ( 50c in US $ ) but I got em for $220.

Closed design, sound great for my application...( Stuffing around!! )...

Any thoughts ( are they just toys???? )

Cheers,

Danglez

Hi,

I've tried out a lot of cans.....but I always come back to the AKG's......they just give a great flat response...and are really comfy.........I use the 240 DF & 270S models all the time now........give 'em a try and your'll see what I mean.....
