Hey guys, it's the podcast guy again... (sound of moans)

The next plan of operation: using the interface's single 1/4 "Phones" output jack to supply audio to 4 headphones...

I'm going to assume that I cannot just rely on a non powered 4 way stereo jack splitter. I'm going to need a powered headphone amplifier right?
example:
Amazon.com: Pyle-Pro PHA40 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier: Electronics

My interface is a Tascam US-600. The mic's are phantom powered but I assume this extra wattage has no relationship with the headphones which I'm guessing will be very quiet with no amp.

Anyone who could offer any further info on this, please share it with me.

The Pyle-Pro PHA40 should work with your Tascam. Use a TRS to TRS cable to go from headphone out of the interface to input of the headphone amp.

However, usually a headphone amp likes to see a line level input, whereas you will be feeding it a headphone out level. You may have to fiddle with respective levels to get a reasonable sound. If it doesn't work, you aren't going to lose a lot of money.

Phantom power is not an issue.
