hey,

I'm in the market for a headphone amp. I need it to have at least 4 outputs and cost <$100.

What would you reccomend?

not sure, but I thk samson at Sam Ash may fit your needs

The HA4700 is a good unit. Have it, like it. Even the Behri-bashers like this one.

I like behringer so long as its not in my signal path. I got the 8 channel version, no probs at all.

You'll probably be fine with the Behringer HA4700 POWERPLAY PRO Headphone Amp because it looks well built. I'd recommend you stay away from the Behringer AMP800 mini-amp headphone amplifier though, because i've barely used mine and the fourth channel has already shorted out.

I have the presonus one (came with a firepod), and while nice, sometimes I wish I could get a bit more volume out of it. But they all might be like that, for all I know.

I have the Behringer HA4700 and have just started to use the Direct In and am getting excessive hum. I have taken the Line Out from my VTB1 and into the Direct In on the HA4700 using a balanced lead. Any ideas or advice? Is there a fault with it?
