Having trouble with nuendo

I have a signale on the nuendo mixer channel but can't get a signal on the recording Channel.
It seems like it would have to be in the input bus because if it was hardware of driver problems I wouldn't be getting a signal to the nuendo mixer right?
Any help would be appreciated

Need more info.

So you're getting level on the Nuendo mixer but no level on the project page?

Have you checked your VST connections? Are you sure you're not looking at the input section of the mixer?
