Have you noticed that...
or maybe its my speakers, but I dont hear mixes anymore by home reccers with too much reverb. In a month. I've heard maybe one that had a tad too much verb.
The case now is that songs seem too dry. I am wondering why this is the case. Maybe its because of fear of drowning stuff in verb, maybe the software verbs dont really enhance the material, or maybe its as Bob Katz says, that mixes done on nearfields are inherently less reverbed than mixes done on big speakers.
