Haven't bought a Fender since the 70`s

I haven`t bought a Fender since the 70`s, although prior to then that is all I had used. I been playing Ibanez and Washburn Custom bass`s since '77. I bought a new Fender active JazzV this yr. It is as nice as anything I've ever played and gives me the tones I want. I even went with the traditional sunburst like my first jazz bass back in 66'

That looks seriously NICE! I've always wanted a 5 string.

I have played several of those, and the Deluxe active Jazz is my favorite Fender bass. It is also #3 in my favorite basses overall, which is pretty dang good.

I like the Perro fretboard, the grain is smooth and looks good. I haven't found a glitch anywhere in the construction on the bass.
