I'm running a PC, athlon 4200x2 with 2 gig of ram.
I use a LOT of plugins which my digi001 was able to handle fine, but I notice that I can only push the buffer on the fireface up to 1024, instead of 2048. 2048 is available for the mac but RME said it doesn't really perform any better.
I am feeling at the moment that I've actually stepped back a little, and that I may have to plug my 001 back (and we all know how digi products just LOVE having other sound cards installed, not to mention the buggy drivers were part of the reason that I upgraded to begin with).
I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem, and if so how they worked around it.
