Im in my bedroom with a dresser and bed and what not and im hanging some panels on the walls but my desk for recordig is in a corner of my room. Usually desks are in the middle right? This has an effect on reflection points with hanging panels. Is there a diff way to hang them?

Desks are usually in the middle because ideally you want symmetry. Are you using your two panels to minimise reflections from the walls either side of you? If so, you could experiment with placing the panels equidistant from your listening position. It does not matter whether you mount traps on a wall or on a stand. Wall mounted traps will ideally have a gap left between the trap and the wall of up to the same depth of the trap, ie. a 4" trap will have a 4" gap.

I could use a stand but i have no floor space to waste. Im guessing i can just place panels on opposite walls around the room? If i put a panel on a wall would i not put a panel directly adjacent on the other wall? Say like a panel then no panel on the other wall but place one say 2 feet away?
