I've been using a Hafler - Tannoy Proto J combo for a few years now. I've been thinking of upgrading to some Reveal passives. However, I've been noticing that the left and right channels of my amp are different. I thought it could be accoustics or the speakers, but if I switch around cabling and speakers the problem follows the channels. The biggest difference I find is that one side has more bass than the other.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? Is something like this worth getting fixed?

Any advice would be useful, I'm kinda at a loss.

Have you ruled out problems upstream of the Hafler? e.g. mixer, soundcard output, or whatever is feeding the Hafler. How does the headphone output of the Hafler sound?

Just a thought. I don't have any brilliant ideas for you.
