Hi folks,
I've been using the Line 6 POD for my PC recording, and whilst it's quite good...I'd like to step things up a notch (both quality & functional-wise).....and was thinking I should now get a more expensive / decent rack modelling unit....
(Ie: like the POD Pro, etc...)
Has anyone used or heard the Rocktron Replitone MP???
I just read an article about it in this months guitar Magazine, and a couple of 'great' reviews on the net.....
I've been demoing the Digitech Genesis 3 the past 4-5 days now (as an alternative to my POD)...but am not impressed at all...the sounds are very "over-compressed/synthetic, etc" and it's rather awkward to use some of the effects editing functions too.
The POD Pro (which I have heard - sounds very good) and the Rocktrone Replitone MP are the only two pro-rack modelling guitar units I have been able to find any info on.....
any comments would be appreciated....
"cheers"
