Never used one personally, but most people reccomend a Shure SM57 for micing amps. And it's only about 90 bucks!

Sennheiser 421..used should do it,about 200.00 I'd imagine..Or a Shure 57 for about 80.00 new..IMHO the Senn. 421 is a versitile mic..Good luck

If you don't have a very large mic cabinent you may want to pick up a few mics.
I personally like the Electrovoice 635-a which is an dynamic omni. It works well on distorted guitar in my opinion. You can pick one up for about $50 used.
The shure 57 I don't really like for guitar but it is very versatile in terms of other instruments and will work on guitar. $50 used or possibly less if your patient
Alot of people like the studio projects B1 for clean tones. I don't do much clean stuff so mine doesn't get much use but it works well for acoustics. $70-80? I think new?

That will get you 3 mics (2 dynamics and a condenser) within your budget of $200 that will all shine on certain applications. Since there is no one "best" mic this is the route I would go for your limited budget.
