I've got a JF30-12. Love it. It has stood up for over ten years, still plays great. I was looking for a 12, and that was the best sounding and best playing of the ones I could get my hands on. (Also cost twice what I planned to pay, but I'm glad I went for it.) Hold off 'til you have a chance to try the Guild jumbos. (Guitar Center used to have Guilds, but I haven't seen a new one there in years.)

I have a blonde JF-30 6 string that I absulutely love. Balanced tone and it really projects well. It also records beautifully, ubnlike a lot of larger guitars I have owned. I would get one of these over a Gibson Jumbo any day of the week.

I've had a Taylor 815 Jumbo and now play through a Gibson J 100 .

That said, I always thought the Guilds were better looking. They all look great but I never found one that played right. I thought it was easier to find a gibson that played great.
