Hey everyone it's my first post here ... i've been wondering for some time what studio monitors should i choose for music production... i usually make house , dance, trance ... this kind of music and i'm also a DJ and i would like to play my music in club but it always sounds with or too much bass or too much treble and usually the instruments doesn't sound how i wanted ... and i'm asking you to help me choose some monitors even headphones for monitoring my music to be able to master it (not so professional but te be able to listen it everywhere decent) i want to Thank you in advance and i am waiting for your responses. All the Best

so many different things to consider. going to class so have to type fast.

monitors are preference. depends also where you are listening

check out some topics on this site about room acoustics and absorbers.

exactly my case i typed this 5 minutes before going to school. Now let me be more accurate... i make music at home, i have an m-audio radium 49 , a core 2 duo destop and a laptop with intel i5. To make money for studio i mix live in clubs birthday partys weddings etc with my own PA system . I started by composing music with FL Studio, now i use Ableton and then i learnt to mix for my money. Now i want to know what do i need to do first to continue making music at a much higher level i mean to be able to drop it in a club and to make it listenable everywhere. I thought that the best idea would be the monitors but which because the stores are full of them from 150 $ to a couple thousands. can anyone make some kind of a guide what should i do /buy THX A LOT ALL
