Will do. And I'll also let my cousin know that Andrea did a great job for us. I'm sure people in her position appreciate when someone mentions nice things about them to the top dogs. The important things are we're all breathing a bit easier, the group buy is moving forward, and the reputations of good people are being spared.

Exactly. We're not using Paypal for this GB. The new payment method is in the works and will be posted when it's been approved and tested (according to ZetaRandy).
Harvey, as long as you've been around the industry, maybe you can help with a recording question I posted in another thread?

This will be a merchant account for TnC. (Chance) So any payments to him, yes, it can be used for that...

Yeah, that'd probably be better... PayPal is useful for somethings...but just not for trying to do what we were trying to do with it...
Latest Update: We ARE almost done with the new account implementation for the merchant account to be able to start the payment process over again... Just got off the phone with the processor again, and were going in that direction... It's almost like trying to eat an elephant!
At any rate, here's the payment options that we will have:
- Credit Card Processing - Visa & MasterCard only (Amex & Discover costs too much!
) - Not sure of the exact transaction fees yet but will inform everone as soon as I know and the account gets boarded.
- ACH - Online Checks - If you have the cash in the bank and you'd rather make payment using this method, it will be available. Still not sure on the exact transaction fee for this one, but it will be cheaper than the credit card processing option. I will post the exact rates as soon as they are passed along to me from the processor.
I know, I know, some of you are thinking, "He opened up a merchant acccount and don't know the rates???"... Yes, I did. But I know all of these people that are working for this processor and I know that they will give me the best rates that they possibly can... Some of these people I have worked with, actually in the same office for 6+ years...
I'll post more updates as soon as I have them.

I am totally psyched that you were able to get the Credit Card option going. That was my only hope. You guys are the best!
In the scheme of things, the fact that you guys were able to get this back on track in under a week is just incredible to me. If you were to just show this thread to a perspective employer, he would hire you on the spot.

This whole group buy thing shows that it's also a "group effort"! We could have never gotten this far if it wasn't for all the group help. Maybe the next new mics should be a "GB" series instead of "ACM"
