Announcment
Starting tomorrow (Monday) Mics shipped to Canada, New Zeland, Austrailia, Barbados, Mexico, and anywhere else outside of the continental US, I will no doubt use USPS like I did on the first GB. I would have done this now, but Fed EX has a real streamlined "ship manager" program.

Heres what I have to do for each order. estimate the box size, pack product in box (and hope I estimated correctly) I have gotten to the point where everything fit perfectly except for one small item. Then I have to start all over.
Once everything is packed, I have to weigh and measure the container. After that, I go to my Fed ex program and type in the weight and size. then I get the "ship rate" and print the shipping label. Then I check your invoices and see what your past PP fee is, then I add that fee to the ship charge, and using the "PP calculator" I calculate what I need to request. Then I go to PP's "request money" request that amount. When I recieve it I go to my Fed EX program again and schedule a pick up. This procedure is for every order. The large orders seem to take longer and I got a few of those out already. There is well over 100 orders, and way over 1000 mics. So I just ask, "be paitent"

Don't worry about getting to mine next week. There's no way it will arrive before I leave town and I'd rather not have the package sitting on my porch for days on end.

I'll have a computer with me and will be able to send paypal while I'm out of town... at that point, I should be able to beat them back.

No need to put anything together that will arrive before 11/12. Thanks.

It looks like the FET mics probably have bodies similar to the ADK Hamburg/Vienna. The tube mic I expected to be about the siza of a Karma K58, but in that picture, it looks slightly smaller. Thoughts? Maybe a MXL V69 body?
 
anyone know if the capsules on the ACM-240's removable? and if so what sorts of other capsules may fit?
 
Lately I have been using UPS for shipping the synthesizers I repair. They have been significantly cheaper than FedEx. Another synthesizer repair colleague of mine has also switched to UPS to save money.
Of course we are dealing with orders that weigh over 50 lbs and very large packaging but it's worth looking into for the mic orders.
 
Did anyone order an extra 6802T they want to sell/trade? You probably won't like it anyway...:D
 
my gigantic order (37 mics, at least one of everything) is waiting for me at work. i will be doing a side by side with the acm-3 and the r*y*r one twenty two on a guitar cabinet pretty soon. will post a blind taste test afterward.
 
i've been checking my e-mail CONSTANTLY, waiting for the paypal fund transfer, so i can get my hands around my ACM-3....

still nothing so far :(:(:(

I'm going to be away starting next Wednesday 11/7 until about Monday 11/19 getting married. Could I get these shipped to an alternate address, or would it be better to hold off on shipping? If the former, how should I go about letting you know the alternate address?

I was hoping to do more packing/shipping today, but taxes are due on the 31rst (quarterly business taxes) Another big job. I will resume tomorrow.
 
Got a notice in the mail yesterday stating theres a package from the US waiting at my post office (I wonder what that could be :p ), but I have to wait till Saturday to get it since they're closed by the time I finish work and get anywhere near home arrrgggghhh :(

find out what your post office's policies are or they will return it to the sender w/in a few days. you may have to leave that slip signed with a request that they hold it.
