Cool! I was hoping someone would post when they got their stuff. It's encouraging for the rest of us who are waiting. So thanks for doing that, A.J! Great to hear about them.

By the way--does your email address start with A, by any chance? :)

Just a reminder,,, I posted two more new mics on PSW if anyone wants to bring them here to "HR" For some reason, I can't up load these jpg's here at HR

A few more new ones from Chance

No specifics for these two...

Just got my pair of ACM-240's today! Thanks for all your hard work, Chance! I will be getting in on the next one!

Just realized for those of us with ACM-4s (the shaving razor shaped ribbon)... there's no way to put them on a mic stand without the shockmount! Of course, a standard mic clip was included (erroneously), but in the case of this particular mic, the clip is way too small. Unless someone else has a creative idea, I'm thinking it just cannot be mounted to a stand without the custom shockmount.

Just a heads-up! I guess it's a handheld until someone figures out a way to mount this thing.

Aj

The other new one - a little larger.

The ACM-4's. That was my bad. I thought the shock mounts were in the case. I diacovered this when I opened a large box and saw all these ACM-4 shock mounts. I'll ship them out with the next shippment (mid week)

picked up my mics

Just picked up my mics from our friend Chance. My impression is that everything looks even better than I had expected. Great job, Chance. Can't thank you enough. This was a great effort.

My order had
2 583 multi patterns (with shockmounts)
2 ACM 2 (lolipop ribbons)
2 ACM 4 dual ribbons (i got the shockmounts)
1 ACM 6802T tube condensor (with shockmount)

They all look awesome to me. I ordered black ACM 4s, but as noted above, the entire order came in silver, I believe. I have no problem with this; they look great. The shockmounts are sturdy and made of metal. This whole thing has been an amazing bargain. I still can't get over the awesome case that the 6802 came in, which holds the mic, shockmount, power supply, 7 pin cable, and a regular xlr cable (which I didn't know I was getting). Now if I can focus enough to get some of my homework done, I'll have some time to lay down a few tracks.

Just want to add my approval to those who suggested we give Chance his well-deserved tip.

My only regret is that I didn't order two more of the 583s for myself (those are in my brother's part of the order). The construction looks really solid. I guess I shouldn't complain though, he doesn't get the tube mic!

For those that received your mics...
Can you post up some pics? :D

I'd like to see what the TnC logo looks like.

did some recording for a few minutes here in my untreated 600 square foot apartment...which reminds me, I need to go plug the fridge back in, or my wife won't be very happy with me in the morning...I'd be surprised if anyone is disapointed with the 6802T or the 583 for that matter. I really like the sound of that tube mic. Anyway, thought I'd throw some pictures up to make your wait a little easier. I hope they get there soon.:D

Awesome! Thanks!
(i must spread some reputation before giving to Caotico again)

Hello,

I did not get my requested and noticed people got their mics.

My e-mail is francois.pierre.lue@gmail.com or fp_lue@hotmail.com (that is my paypal e-mail)

I am in Canada and noticed there was problems with Canada... I believe USPS and marking them as gift is the best option.

Thanks

Francois

Patience... he's doing the packaging and shipping in batches. At this point, the majority of us haven't received the paypal requests yet. Add on to that the poor guy is having some computer problems slowing him down a bit as well.

Caotico

Thanks for posting the pics. The 583 is smaller than I imagined.

Can't wait to hear some reviews of the ACM-310 and ACM-3.
