You mentioned earlier the ACM-3 was 22mm, and the 220 & 240 were 22mm & 23mm.

22mm and 24mm. The model numbers are based in part on the tube size, it would seem.

Also, is there a shockmount for the ACM-3?

A little farther back in the thread, Chance mentioned this:

Absolutly. I encourage experimenting and mods. My intentions of all thi is this: most of the Hi-end Hi-dollor mics quality have been going down the tubes AKG''s C-12 vr @ $5000.00 is terrible. the new Neuman mics don't compare with the mics of the past. Why? Greed. Many of these mics are being made cheaply but are still demanding big bucks. If the market can be flooded with good cheap mics, I am hopeing that these companies will once again produce the quality that they used to have. When you buy these mics, you are paying for the name and reputation of their past. There are many pro studios using cheap mics because you can't fool the ears. The response to this buy is mind blowing and by far exceeds what I thought it would be.

Just a note:

When you check out Chance's site : make sure you clear you browser's cache, so that all the additions and changes to the webpage show up.

For a while I was looking at the same page, but there was new information, and I couldn't see it. Cleared the cache, and voila!

Chance did say the cutoff is May 6th. How is it that you missed out on the last group buy? Did you attempt it but somehow not make it in?
I'm taking my time with ordering, but if I have a reason to be paranoid and jump into it now I will. I just want to be sure of my finances, and what mics I think I'll like.

The last group buy happened over Christmas break... or maybe Thanksgiving. I wanted in on it, too, but the timing was such that by the time I realized it had begun, it was already over. The one after that fell through.

This group buy looks really fantastic - I'm new here, and looking forward to participating. Are there any more details yet about the ACM-510 USB powered?

Also, is there any type of policy in place in the very unlikely event that we might get a mic which is DOA (Dead on Arrival)? I truly doubt that would happen, but just in case, I'm curious what my options would be?

Is it possible to get the shockmount ONLY from the ACM-310? Everyone getting sick of my questions yet?

I just see this group buy as a good opportunity to pick up a few "extra's" as well. Especially considering what some companies will charge for their accessories. So... I'm working on getting my ducks in a row and sending only one order e-mail.

ACM-582,583 specs

Chance, thanks for setting this up.

I'm trying to put together my order but it's hard to consider ACM-582 and ACM-583 without specifications. Will any more information about them be available? (Others have already asked about the ACM-510 USB mic.)
