Group Buy Interest?

Interestingly, slightly more than a third of those who registered for the GB didn't buy anything. Mostly the idle curious I expect. Registered to see the prices and then opted not to play for whatever reason.

Here's something else that is interesting too:

Before the PayPal fiasco, there were a number of people registered and a certain dollar amount of products chosen... In the end, roughly that dollar amount was what was paid... So it appears that the same number that were serious to begin with, was the same group/number in the end...

Am I makin' sense..? I'm tired...sleepy...

whoops. woke up this morning and realized i forgot to pay last night.

oh well, maybe next time when there are more reviews on the different products. it was difficult matching my needs to what was available.

No news yet on the color of the pre amps, but the xfrmrs ARE NOT from China. Due to confidentiality, they will not reveal what country they are from.

Hmm. What countries have lower manufacturing costs than China? Vietnam? Ghana? Rural West Virginia? :D

WOW! I bought a mic from you a LONG time ago, I think it was a year ago, and I never ended up getting it. I completely forgot about it until seeing this thread again!

Who are you? I still have a couple orders that after MANY reminders, never responded to the shipping invoice.
 
Stereo bars

I think stereo bars are always a good thing to have, they are pretty useful, not only for stereo aplications.

If the ones that we are talking about are the same as the ones in the pics i must say they are very well built. They are also pretty heavy and you can use them also as a weapon. I recall their price was ridiculous.

I think they could be just the same some 3 letter mic brand sells for $245, the main difference being that mine is not painted/marked.

I must say i´ve been impressed with this mic in a couple of situations.

Some months ago i had to record some Flamenco guitars which were specially harsh, so this mic saved the day.
