Hi Jeremy,

Yes, you're payment was accepted... It does take a few business days for it to "make the loop"... The processing business calls is "repayment" to happen.. At that time the funds will be removed from your account... Just hang tight, it'll happen...

Same here. I got a confirmation code and my invoice status is "paid", but no money was taken from my bank account. I paid by automatic check on Friday.

EDIT: OK, Randy you were posting the post above at the same time that I posted this post. I'll let you know if the money has not been taken out in a few days.

I just went and checked this out so I could give you actual dates:

If you paid - 5/16/2008, it will be processed - 5/21/2008

I am still searching for solutions for better rates shipping out side of the USA. I haven't forgotten about you guys and
I found something called "postal consolidation". This is where several packages are shipped to another country (as one shippment) then disbursed in that country. I should have more information next week.

Your continual efforts to help are appreciated. While I can't speak for other countries, "postal consolidation" to Aust., may defeat the purpose of looking for better shipping rates..............I strongly suspect that if the parcels arrive as one multi-parcel shipment, they're bound to attract import duties that may have been avoided had they arrived as seperate shipments addressed to the individual receivers and that those duties may outweigh the savings in shipment costs..

I'll check this out with the Customs Dept., tomorrow and report back here.....probably in about 12 hours.

Yes, please do. I was told that once the shipment is in the other country, local delivery services would be cheaper.
 
Is that "consolidation" service through USPS or an independant service?

We have to wait till everything is in place. Last year I mentioned about comps along with the preamps and I spoke too soon because the comps still aren't ready and I've been hounded to death. I think it best to wait a little longer.

On one of the boards, might be this one, a few pages back, Chance stated what color he was working on getting right, it was a burnt orange with white lettering...that's where I got my info from ...

NOTE........For Australian shipments only.........

A call to the Customs Dept., confirmed my earlier post.............a "consolidated" shipment arrives as one consignment and if that consignments "shipping value" is over $1000 it attracts import duties regardless of what actually makes up that consignment.

If you are able to send the parcels through USPS there is a "one off" postage/shipping charge door to door, the only other charges would be import duties if applicable, however, the minute you move outside the postal networks/systems, apart from potentially higher initial shipping charges, there is the great risk that once the items arrive in the destination country, the shipping company and/or their agent will attempt to apply additional charges (eg: for Customs handling, etc) prior to delivering the items regardless of whether there is any justification or not................This happens quite frequently and is why I persist in recommending using the USPS/Aust., Post networks. The comment "local delivery services would be cheaper" just doesn't make much sense, probably a marketing ploy ;)
