Your efforts last night have paid off nicely.... I much prefer the arrangement now for the intro and the solo. Good stuff - now get some sleep..... ;)

The intro guitar sounds fine. Not wimpy.
The kick isnt too loud. Could do with more low end around 90Hz as it seems a tad clicky at times. I like to feel it a bit more if you know what I mean.

Nice snare. Hats sound at a good level. Wouldnt hurt to bring them down, but they dont take the listeners concentration away from the vocals and guitars.
Nice singing.
Awsome vocals at around 2minutes.
How many vocals is that? Im guessing about 4?
What effect have you on the vocals. Really nice pro touch Rami.

Nice Chili peppers-esque break down at 2.24.
Reminds me off the one hot minute style Chili peppers.

Id like to hear more low end on the whole mix. Try a decent boost at 90Hz for bass and kick. Nice bas tone apart from the lack of low end.

Think the low end issue is something I hear in most of your work. Could be your preference, your monitors or my preference. :)

Good stuff.
Eck

Thanx alot, Eck.

Yeah, it might be my monitoring as far the low end goes. But I find alot of times it depends on how I played the song. Maybe I didn't monitor loud enough so I didn't really whack the kik, I don't know. But I know that on some songs I get alot of thump even on the raw tracks, and on others I don't have the same thump no matter what I do to the EQ> I really think it's the way I play on some songs. Not your ears.

The back vocals are a 3-part harmonies doubled...so 6 tracks. The effects I put on the bax there is a bit of Classic Flanger and Classic Reverb. Small, almost bathroom setting. And of course a long delay on the chorus.

Thanx for your ears, Eck. Got to work on the low end.

No probs Rami.

Yeah could be how you play certain songs as to the oomph factor difference from song to song.

Adios,
Eck

Intro tone is fine. I like the way the rythm section kicks in against the swing figures. Chorus is well placed and resolves nicely.

Bell isn't too loud. You might want to compress some overhead clones to give the cymbals a little more heft.

Guitar lead can come up a little bit.

Nice work, RAMI.

Thanx alot, Casey. I don't know if you read through the thread, but Nak says this sounds like it has an LPC influence. I don't hear it, but I'll take it as a compliment.

AAAAAHHHHHAAAAAA!!!!!

I figured it out!!!!!

I had the phase reversed on my pre-amp when I passed the kik through it, so it was out of phase. I just flipped it and.....THERE IT WAS!!!!

I knew there was something weird, but sometimes you can live in denial until someone confirms it. When Eck mentioned the low end, I had to go back and check everything step by step, and sure enough, the polarity was reversed on the pre-amp. Once I switched it, it was night and day.

hehe...........and I thought it was my playing...what was I thinking????? :D :D :D

Thanx Eck. Sometimes a little comment is worth a million bucks.

So, until I get a new mix up, y'all pretend the kik actually has some guts to it...because it does. :)

Nicely done Rami. I like the contrasting gtr section at 2:26. Everything's tight. The drumming kicks ass.

Great tune

Rami,

Great tune man.

Love the bass sound.....actual jealous of the bass sound and how it sits as very distinct in the mix without taking over. Your recordings are very clean and well balanced.

Drumming is very tight (as always) and I'm digging the guitars even the real thick stand alone rhythm guitar tone.....it adds variety. Like the part towards the end where the tune starts to swing.

I'm many notches down the recording/mixing skills totem pole so I really can't offer any suggestions for improvement.

Nice work.

Bart
