I have a mpc1000, a p4 1.8ghz ,384 mb ram, 200 gig hard drive, an externat dvd-rw, and a zip100. What else do you suggest i buy to produce ,home record beats, but also persueing DJing to, but home recording is primary. I have Fruitloops xxl, cakewalk, acid, virtual dj, nero6.0, i have tons of downloads , and samples,drums. What do i need so i can sample, and can you sample cd's. what program should I sample digital music with. Basically I want to know basics needed to produce and mix, but cheap . oh yeah, can i attach my external zip100 drive "serial", for more memory.
im going at this blind, no 1 around here is into beats and hip hop, my town doesnt even have blacks ,just a passion of mine, i have beat video's and read everything i can find, or download, I just dont know how and what i can sample? any help ,tips would be great
