Okay... so I got the Rode NTK yesterday.
I wanted to check it out and compare it against the Nuemann, but they didn't have any to spare for demo purposes.
As a matter of fact, they only had 5 of them shipped to that store (Guitar Satan) and sold 3 of them as soon as they came in.
Fortunately, I know the manager really well, so it wouldn't be a problem to return it if I don't like it.... which is not too likely.
I also got a brand new NT3, since I needed a small-diaphragm condenser for acoustic guitar and piano.
Anyway, it'll probably be a week or so before I get a chance to mess with it, since there is something pretty big happening on the homefront.
As soon as I get it together and give it a try, I'll post my honest opinion of it.
Man, it's tough to wait this one out, but like I said... something BIG is happening around here!!
