Thats what my friend said too lol. It wasn't like the extra optional offers I got were much better ... $25 gift certificate to Wallmart with subscription to an online dating service I think :eek: ... there is just something really fitting about that, I just can't place it. :D


But ya, the only ones that were any good were Maxim, Blockbuster, and MAYBE, if you like over priced shipping....Columbia House DVD.
 
I kept meaning to do a Maxim subscription anyway...a buck an issue for "porn" I can look at during work? Sounds good.
 
So all I have to do is sign up for a month long thing with blockbuster and get five people to use my referal? Do all of those people have to sign up for something that they have to pay for too or do they just have to sign up for freeipods.com? Also do you have to do more if you want to get a better ipod. I mean they are offering ipod minis as well as the 60 gig ipod photo. Who wouldn't want the photo, you know? If I can figure some of these things out I may be on the banwagen.

Ya, everyone that signs up must also get one of the 'promotions'. its like a pyrimid scheme, just that the pyrimid is still somewhat far from completion (read: no one left to sign up).

I personally don't want all the photo features. That might be nice for some people, but to me its just more battery power (less play time) for a bigger color screen. Plus, almost all 1500+ of my mp3's are at 320kbs and it only takes up about 8 gigs on my HD. To me 20 gigs is enough.

Aso for what you need to get the 60 gig, I don't know...infact, to be honest, I didn't even notice there was an option until you pointed it out. :D

Yep, there is that catch. It looks like all of the "free trial" shit is something you just have to make sure and cancel before it hits the credit card. Or there's the subscription deal (which is what I went with, because...well, I wanted the fucking thing anyway... :D )

It's true. There is no such thing as a free lunch. And there's no question that this is the grandest pyramid scheme of all. But it IS doable.

I think I fucked in my a hole. I clicked the link to sign up for Blockbuster, but I do so after filling out my info for them (were it said "now pick a promotion') but BEFORE clicking my confirmation email.

What a fucking joke. Maybe I am just impatient, but it should at least say that my promotion is in processing or something. Not that I flat out haven't done it yet.


See. I got fucked again. ...and I don't even fucking watch movies.

it will not show up that you got the promotion yet
it takes days for it to show, it wont say its processing. your still ok
