I really like it. Nice and clean sounding. Voice is natural. Makes me realize how important a good vocal mic is.

Nice groove!
i thought the harmony vocal was a little muffled and the lead guit could come up, wasnt sure if the tone's a little thin, maybe tracking another layer would fatten it up..
also, this is purely a compositional thing so please ignore it if you want, but at the breakdown where after "funky time" the keys could could be a bit busier as the funky bit was actually mellowier than the previous few bars...nice idea though...it almost has a French House sound about it there (Im thinking Kojak from the late 90's), Id also consider dropping the words introducing the breakdown as I instantly thought of "Flight of the Conchordes", but that might be me

Thanks for your kind words and opinion kcearl! But what keys are you talking about exactly? (The bass isn't keys, it's me playing tha real thing!). That if it was the bass you were referring to.

The lead solo guitar was originaly intended to be thin and agressive (fusion alike), but since you mentioned it I will try to fatten it up and see if it sounds better!!

Oh I meant some busier keys in there...oops
a synth solo part...some heavy filtered Jupiter lead or something...maybe not, its your vision I just thought thev track was busying along and then funky time! went quiet...maybe if the words werent there it would just breakdown without the expectation of some flying synth lead??
compositions difficult to comment on, Im projecting how I would handle it, and to be quite frank your wee groove is more than I could manage anyway
I really like them as well, even for a humour band some of their music's excellent...Business Time's a beaut

At the key part that you wanted to be busier, I had it recorded quickly just to add a "filler" and then I sent it to a friend so I could get a REAL Saxophone recorded instead! I'm still waiting for that one!!
If that doesn't work, I will try to make the sax vst keys more busier until the MiniMoog steps in and see how that works!

I think there was but due to the high percentage of morons here the admin had to remove the function
a sax should change its dynamics..dont lose the little synth stabs, they really give it a modern edge
look forward to hearing your final version
