I read in other posts that Bitty Bit was getting on in age with difficulties.

Loosing a life long friend is always hard.

My dog passed on two and a half years ago and I still can't bring myself to replacing her yet.
 
Sorry for your loss, man. Not looking forward to the day when mine goes, which is hopefully a long way off, but I know it'll come nevertheless.
 
I'm just seeing this thread....

Strange, apparently around the same time frame that this thread was started I thought about you and your dog, wondered how she was doing. Well, sort of strange, around the same time my old friend took a turn for the worse and was stumbling, falling, couldn't stand. Somehow my old boy came out of it, but it was scarey. Anyway, turned my mind to you and yours.

It aint easy, man, never is. You did right by her. I'm sure she always knew she was loved, and lived a happy life through all of her days.
 
thank you Mick and all the other kind folks ..... it's so strange .... I knew it was coming and it was time and yes, I saved her 12 years ago and again 1 year ago and she had a great loved life but ...... I surprised just how empty I feel.
Getting better though ............
