Okay, I searched back a few months. Didn't find anything. Must have had you confused with someone else. Must have been the glasses. My apologies.... But your first two posts didn't come off as poking fun.

It's cool, though. After having read of few of your posts in the Newbs section, you've been more helpful than most. So cheers to that. :)

And OP, I sometimes give people a poke at first and then go on to help them. I got distracted when you didn't react well to my (fail of a) poke. My eventual point would have been that plug-ins themselves only get you so far, and regardless of whether you want to, you usually have to screw around with parameters. I'll try to play nicer next time ;)

Related note: OP - What's your DAW? (Apologies if you answered already, I was too busy watching the flamewar turn into a hippie tree-hugging fest! Haha)

But if you dont like downloading exe files from strange places, let me know and I will make them (the entire Kjaerhus Classic Collection) available to you for download. Imo, Kjaerhus has the best freeware plugs for mixing of anybody. Too bad to see that some third party has taken over the Kjaerhus domain. I wonder if he accidentally let it expire? Or if he just went out of business?

If you have around $200 bucks to burn, you could buy Sonar Studio, it has a ton of decent plugs, and the upgrade vortex will not dominate your life form for 8000 years demanding $199 bucks every 15 months to keep up with teh Joneses! I paid $99 for the crossgrade to Studio in order to buy out from the Sonar Producer ball and chain just so I could keep the Sonar plugins working, and most of them actually work inside Reaper.
 
Alternately, Reaper comes with a shedload of fantastic plugins.
