Good recording w/ Powerbook and Mbox, etc?!?!

Is it possible to get a top quality recording with a Powerbook Laptop (1.5 Ghz the newest one out),an Mbox w/pro tools, and a good vocal mic (and instrumental mic for my instrumental shyt; ie: Rode NT2 and 2 Shure sm57s)...?? What else would I have to add to this to get the best possible recording (besides good acoustics)?? Currently for music production, I am using a Yamaha Motif. Please Help if you can.

Of course! What you're using is technologically better than what you could have bought for 100 grand 20 years ago. You definitely have the means to record professional quality tracks. Now you just need to develop the skill.
