Wats gud erybody...

Im looking in to buying an affordable pair of studio headphones that would be good to make rap beats on...So that i can hear every sound without distortion...

A problem i have been having with the ones i have is that whenever the bass hits, the rest of the song gets very quiet and hard to hear...I would like a pair that would correct this problem..

thank you

I'm not gonna dig into ya!

But,ummmmmmm......................

Forget it, I'll let someone else answer!

Mamma always said "If you ain't got nothing good to say, then don't say nothing at all".

Guess I'll have to be the one that steps in here....since I mix my beats on headphones usually.

The thing that works best for me is closed ear headphones. If you're looking on the cheap route, you could probably go with a good pair of Sonys or Koss. I use a $10 pair of Koss BR10's that I got from Borders. I love those things man...

If you have even cheap headphones, you can work with it until you can upgrade to monitors. The point is you have to use them enough to get to know them so that when you mix, it sounds good in your headphones and in the stereo/car/ghetto blaster/mp3 player/etc.

Took me about a good year to get good with headphones.
