gibson les paul snaffoo

my wife bought me a gibson les paul for christmas...uh...yeah...i was shocked.

for the life of me i do not understand why gibson has not come up with a method other than drilling a f*cking hole in the wood of my beautiful sunburst
beauty to add the pickguard...

does anyone know what the hell they're thinking?...other than that...the
most amazing guitar i've ever played..

Some LP's look cool without, some don't.....


Some players remove the pickguard from older models where the pickguard screw hole was "pre-drilled".

Feel, lucky...you have a choice of a screw hole or no screw hole.

To me some "bursts" should have no PG..but a goldtop or other solid color "should" in my opinion. It's all up to YOUR taste..doesn't affect the sound one bit ;)

Just be happy you have a wonderful instrument in your hands and play the fuck out of it

undressed with curves

mine will remain undressed...the sunburst is too pretty to drill into..

solid color would probably look better with...fer my personal taste..
