alright guys, i'm new here..

and i was wondering if you could offer any help here

i'm recording drums with an 8 channel mixer into cakewalk... so i have to do all my EQing and everything on the actual mixer...

any help or tips you guys can offer would be dope :)

Are you talking about an actual kit, or some kind of drum machine?

A little more help in describing your set up (like what mics you are using, etc.) will get you some more help here.

Also, there is a forum for drummers and such, where you can probably get all the help you need just by reading what they already posted there...

What Cakewalk product do you have? Sonar has a pretty decent Eq plugin, and there a multitude of free ones to try out there. They may be of some help.
