Spectrogram can be downloaded for free. You're limited to I think about 10 minutes in demo mode, but that was never too big a deal for me. I actually haven't used it too much since multitracker now has a spectrum analyzer built into its parametric EQ plugin, but it wasa nice little tool to have.
I just recorded the guitar tracks and bass tracks... And with it all blended together things start to get a little muddy in areas, so all these tips you guys posted will definetly come in handy in the next day or so of mixing
I never used Brainspawn I've read some pretty good reports about it. Out of curiosity I just checked their web site and it does look pretty interesting, better than the one I get in n-Track.
