Getting air in VO Booth

Thats very similar to what used to be fitted in the modular booths thomann sold. They still do, and thomann deliver to the US.
Here

The only snag with these is that they pretty much are between take devices. They shift lots of air in and out quickly, but make a lot of noise. The alternative are ducts fans in the exhaust duct, with the duct lined with acoustic material, with no fan in the inlet duct. Many people build them with labyrinth style design so there is no direct line of sight path for the air, like in those clever loudspeaker designs to let air pass but not be easy for sound. Those bathroom types with 4” fans scream away, but the 8” versions shift more air and are quieter, even bigger ones are available and these are very much a diy product. Build the ductwork with the acoustic stuff in it out of chipboard or mdf and sit them on the roof, if its a room within a room, then the flexible duct to the outside world.

I would really like to avoid having to make the labyrith/baffle system. I don't have a roof that I can access for my booth. Doesn't anyone make an air moving system for recording that doesn't cost $5k? Thanks!

Physics, dear chap. Look how hard it is to control even quiet sounds in a studio? Then think about the crazy systems we stick on shotgun mics to prevent a light breeze sounding like a tornado. Shifting air silently, is really hard. A fan that sounds like a hand dryer for five minutes, could work for you. One that works when record is pressed is totally different and very expensive. Just how it is, i guess.

What about running the air from a fan through a vent tube filled with, like furnace filters?
