I'm about to start a website aimed at promoting unsigned bands and local artists. You can help test the interface by uploading one of your songs along with a link to your website for some free pub!
The site is called Novamixtape and it lets users listen to tons of songs all on the same page. Once I have a decent collection of music from indie artists, I'm going to promote the hell out of it on my Facebook, at shows, and anywhere else I can.
