Hey Darren, is this place any good? I'm tryin to figure out what batteries I should use in my Gibson Pluckmaster, but none of these guys will give me a serious answer. Friggin' premo-donnas! :rolleyes:

Anyway, I was treating my fingerboard to some much needed talcum powder and I think I got some on one of the batteries cause it started fizzing just before my amp blew up! So now I'm like, "did the batteries fuck up the coil pack, possibly back-feeding voltage to my Marshall 2X20, or did the talcum powder create a pulse-wave nano-spike, allowing a core breach in my #3 Groove Tube".......Gawd! This stuff drives me fuking nutts!

Obviously, electronics are not my specialty. Ya know...if everything was made of wood instead of silicon, I'd have this whole rock star thing dicked!

Anyway, I'm gonnanhangmoutna little while longer and see if I can learn some stuff about this 96 track Tascom Digital Recorder I just bought. It's got Lotsa knobs and inputs and stuff. I'm way past the whole "what kinda mikrofone should I buy" stuff. Got me a couple Sampsons and a box full o' old Dell Computer misc at a yard sale. They sound pretty good. I putn5 of them in a circular pattern around the sound hole of mt Startokaster, and it picks up every nuance of my solos.

Welp, good to meet you and all. It's getting late so I'm gonna reload my adult beverage and rock out to some Greg_L tunes! :thumbs up:
