My computer recently died a tragic death

Which means I now make all my tracks on my girlfriends old laptop..

Its a terrible laptop

It sometimes crashes while im recording

And I usually have to create a mix down just so I can hear how my mix is sounding.

I have very little recording experience. But I have been doing some work experience at the Outhouse Studio's in Reading UK which has a fantastic reputation amongst the rock and metal scene.

Architects recorded all but one of their albums there and to me, they are the best sounding metal albums I've ever heard.

And I mean that solely on a production level
