Just got myself a TLM103 2nd hand.
Now I'll be stuffed if I'm paying the $460 they want here in Oz for a genuine mount.
So does anyone know who makes generic shock mounts?
Thanks
Mark

I think the only guys that make a genuine Neumann mount are...well...Neumann. :)

If you don't mind it being not genuine, I understand that the shock mount for the Marshall MXL 990 will do quite nicely.

Yes, I said I was after a generic (ie non-genuine). I can't understand how Neumann can charge that much for something that probably costs them $5 to make.

But thanks, I'll check out the MXL.

Easy, buy a Marshall (MXL 990) mic (that looks exactly like the TLM103) for $59 (at Musician's Friend)and chuck the mic, keep the shockmount and case. This will work.

They are the Germans, man. They are still paying back from the last major war.

You may even find the mic useful. You never know...

Thanks guys. I ended up getting a pair of 990's. Should come in handy.
Only $165 each here in Oz. (retail at $199).
