The first file wouldn't play for me.

ROCK JAMMER - Not bad, man. Sounds like it was mixed by a guitar player, though. The guitars seem to sort of overpower everything, which makes the mix sound smaller than it could. Not CRAZY loud...just a bit loud. And without vocals, my whole perception may be off anyway. I like loud drums.

Poppunk seems closer on the levels. It would be interesting to hear this stuff with vocals.

Thanks man. I play guitar so I usually have the guitars loud. I can't sing and don't have anyone to lay down quality vocals so I might just be making the guitars the focal point.

I also co-mixed and mastered sounds of the rodeo's full length the war within. Other than the few rap tracks I've done for local artists its the only thing I've worked on with real vocals.

My suggestion: Take what you think is the best song of the bunch and give it it's own thread. One song per thread is the usual practice. I'll be happy to offer comments provided you will do the same for others who post songs on the forum.
