Not sure what I'm doing wrong.. But I don't see a soundcloud Icon to post the soundcloud link here. I'm in advanced mode still don't see how to do it.

After you click on Go Advanced right above the area you type into is a row of icons for editing text. The last icon on the right hand side should be a small orange box with a white cloud in it. Click on that...
 
Instead of posting the link betweek 'url' tags, try posting it between 'soundcloud' tags.
 
Yeah.. none of that shows up. I see post Icons like smile,wink,angry but not things like sound cloud.
I'm using Chrome and FireFox with Ubuntu.. my windows side of this Laptop is not booting correctly so I can't check if it's because I'm in ubuntu not sure why that would matter doesn't have an effect on other forums.

I can post just the link..but it's not going to be in the soundcloud box.

The SoundCloud icon isn't in the area that says Post Icons with the smilies, etc icons. It's above the area that you type text in along with the font edit icons, all the way at the end on the right.

Might be different in ubuntu. I'm on Safari.

Thanks.. Yeah none of that shows here. I'll have to wait till I'm back in town at my studio.
It's up there and signed to the group.. I may not have time to post here before the June 1st. I'll try this week..
Thanks for the help.. I was googling in case there was a work around for Ubuntu. never had this trouble at other forums..Course I don't post soundcloud files often.. actually hate what it does to audio.
 
Normally when you post a link it is enclosed in "[ url ]" and "[ /url ]" tags. Change these to "[ soundcloud ]" and "[ /soundcloud ]" to embed your soundcloud widget. I had to put the extra spaces in to get them to show, don't include these.

thanks hydroflare I tried that earlier didn't work. But I had a space in the bracket that i didn't notice. So here it is..

Hi everyone. Here's my mix if you'd like to have a listen.

Any feedback is welcome. I'm not sure about the overall bassiness or brightness. I'm mainly using a VRM box with headphones these days.

 
Been listening some more and can't help but to think many mixes are "over processed / over done" - On the other hand, some mixes are really good too. Anyway, best of luck to all!

What mix are you talking about? Hard to tell without any quote :) If you ment mine, the mix is totally ITB:

Plugins: VUMT Solo (gain staging), DMG Equilibrium, TDR Feedback Compressor 2, Kush audio UBK-1/Clariphonic DSP, Slate RC-Tube/VTM, Valhalla Vintage Reverb, VoS NastyDLA Delay, Nebula 3 pro (Mammoth EQ).
