Gator Cases?? Verses SKB??

Hey guys!! Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Gator cases. They look to be GREAT values. They seem to be A LOT like SKB's upper model racks (non shock-mount). They have "O" rings (I think...), rack rails in front and back, and are relatively cheap. Has anyone had any experience with these? My bassist is starting to build his rack and I'm looking to in the decently near future. If anyone could maybe give a few opinions or something, I'd be very grateful. And if anyone has been able to do an A/B comparison with the SKB's, PLEASE!!! I BEG!!! POST!! :) Thanks in advance!!

I've had good experience with SKB. When people hire me to produce somewhere other than my studio, i usualy take a lot of my rack stuff with me. I case it all up in SKB's and go. haven't really let me down. only thing though, get an SKB with the screw threads put in. some cases just have holes and you have to put a screw and a nut, and it's akward. ive noticed that after a loooooong time, some of my older cases are sttarting to bend inward slightly, but i think it's cus i have heavy poweramps in it. look out for rack cases by a company called Stagg. very cheap but well made.
 
Hey!! Thanks LongWave!! I will probably go do a search for those cases now. It's not a real big deal, but probably a near future purchase for me and DEFINITELY for my bassist...he just got his power amp in...it's pretty cool. Anyways, thanks again!! Anyone have experience with Gator Cases?
