Good point. I've sent a few inquiries over to Emagic about this, but haven't heard back yet.

Do you know if they're still supporting the Windows version?

A cakewalk representative in the Cakewalk forum!!!!

Today is a good day to die!

Thanks AW for taking the time to respond. Stick around, there are lots of questions here. Hopefully it won't be as intensive as tech support.

Go Easy on AW guys, we don't want to scare him away.

Middleman is absolutely right, and sorry about the expletive, folk who read most of my posts know that I don't use such language usually. It was the pleasant shock of having someone from Cakewalk visit us that did it.:)

AW, this is a truly great BBS, full of great people, and a fine learning resource for your company's products. Please, please please, stick around, visit often.

You might just learn something;) :) And hopefully, so will we.:D

You got it, guys - I'll stick around. :)

Please note that I can't offer tech support and I don't have the time to be super-active, but I'll be around.

Cheers!

OK, then I guess I'll have to do it.

So about when should I expect the first checks from 12 Tones to start arriving?

:D

So AW, non tech support question here....

Can you talk about the next rev of Sonar yet? Any insights?

Welcome to the board, AW :)

We got Scott Garrigus before, and now we have you here :) What a blessed forum :)

Fair enough! We're just happy we can get a statement once in a while form the horses mouth... :)

And you know, you could always put me on your payroll... :D

AW, thats great news and the techie thing is understood. It needs to be centralised and focussed, so no issue there from me.

We were led to believe that it was company policy that no-one from Cakewalk was permitted to became an overt member of this BBS? Which is a shame because the BBS comes up with some great ideas from time to time as to how to make the products better, from a user point of view. Also, it would be nice to get a "heads-up" from a Cakewalk exec. on product release issue, like you posted here. And more than anything else, you can see what your customers are saying about your products.;)

Anyway, welcome to the BBS:)

I think we need to mail him our ideas for Sonar 3... :D

Jeez, Moskus, I thought we said not to frighten him off:D

Lets not jump all over him just when he's got here. No, lets wait a while first...... and then jump him:D

I can't help it! I'm just so excited!!!! :D :D :D

And Clemie, I think that was to Garrigus (if I remember correctly... ;)).

AW, forget all these bozo techie people, its me that you need on your payroll. Why? Cuz if anyone can find a way of not doing something properly within your products its me:rolleyes:

Oh, and BTW, dachay has got a PhD in Marketing, so he can answer questions on that too:D

i give it five stars thread :) moskus, that was true, it was for mr. Garrigus. but links from cakewalk company it self is good idea too :o :)
mr.AW, i am awared that you cant answer technical question, but does HS 2004 allows users to save sysex data ?-someone (James Argo?) mentioned this issue in other thread. If it doesn't, then you probably need to send me the cheque also :D hahaha kidding :)
