Hey folks! I'm new around here, and totally stoked to have stumbled upon this scene.
So here's the first of what I'm sure will be many questions.
I've been playing with recording for years, but I just recently got some (half) decent equipment - a Tascam 1804 and a Lexicon MX200, recording with Nuendo 3. I'm trying to get the MX200 into the loop via SPDIF, and that's where the trouble is. Since the 1804 sends the monitor bus out to the SPDIF, I get a feedback loop. I can't figure out a way to avoid it and still be able to monitor the signal from the MX200. I managed to set up a wet track from a SPDIF bus that gets the signal, but if I turn the monitoring on, everything quickly goes to hell.
Anyone smarter than me know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
Alex
